NEVADO SANTA ISABEL
The snow-capped Santa Isabel is one of the mountains in the Central mountain range of Colombia. Its summit rises to 4965 meters above sea level, and marks the border between the departments of Risaralda, Tolima and Caldas, being the highest point of the first. It has a large number of lagoons, puddles and vegetation of frailejones and other plants [citation needed] At its summit is one of the six surviving glacier masses currently in Colombia, being the penultimate in size in the country only ahead of the Tolima snow-capped glacier.
